Opps...Help!!! Three happy and satisfied girls after their catamaran!

As promise for the forfeit, kayee came knocking on our door to wake us up before 9am. Today was going to be a super fun and exciting day! We will be spending our day at Foret d'orient lake in Troyes. It was quite a long ride from UTT. The lake was huge! The weather that day was cold due to the slight drizzle on and off. There were 3 activities ongoing. They were big boat rowing, canoeing and catamaran. We were only able to try 2 activities out of 3. Janet , Gin Jin and I chose to do the catamaran first.

Catamaran was fun! Three of us board on one. Basically there were 3 control to the catamaran- a bar that control the direction of the catamaran; a big sail that trap the wind to get the boat moving; and a small sail that has to be of the same alignment to the big sail, in order to progress at a superb speed. It's a pity that we were unable to take any picture while at sea.=( In the midst of our sailing, we took a sharp turn at a point that resulted our catamaran to move too fast. We almost lost our balance due to the strong wind that was pushing hard on our sail. OMG! Poor Gin Jin, who was controlling the bar, was in a weird and uncomfortable position as our boat was a bit slanted. This lasted almost 5 to 10 minutes before help came. We realised that we made a mistake to unlock a part of the string linked to the big sail that were meant to be locked, so that the big sail will not have extreme flippng when wind changed in its direction. Phew! The waves that were created by the motorboat(our guide), drove our catamaran up and down. We seem to be experiencing a mini tsunami. lol. Towards the end, the weather turned better. There was some sunlight!! lol. But wind was a little tone down! This made the progress pretty slow, because there was no wind to trap. We ended up playing water in the middle of the sea cos our catamaran was "stuck"( no wind). The sight of the motorboat was seen again. haha. So in the end we were tolled back. It was not quite a good ending though. haha.=p Anyway, Mr nice Eric helped three of us took some photos with the catamaran! Although there were sunlight, the surrounding air was still cold. We quickly went to toilet as we were super urgent then. And then there was one toilet that has a translucent door. -.- No choice, we used it at a superb speed. lol. We then had some chocolates cookies as our lunch. After lunch, we had a female soccer with the rest of our gss mates. We were not feeling as cold after the game. Eric was super serious during the game. The ball he delivered was pretty scary. So need to siam when he kicked the ball.

The 2nd activity started at 2p.m. We decided to canoe. Hee. It was fun. Initially, we cannot seem to get the control of the canoe well. We kept turning in circle, not only that we even went straight into the branches!-.- Ouch!!! It's painful. Finally, we were in control of the canoe. We then tried hard to chase after ducks and swan that were swimming around the lake. But they seem to have detacted our presence before we can really get near to them. It's enjoyable though. One thing that made me feel annoyed and disgusted was the sea flies and insects flying around. -.- The sae water was super cooling. I have some urge to jump out of my canoe. But due to the unpredictable weather, i better do not take any risk. haha. =p The session of canoeing lasted about one to two hours. My entire arms have already started to ache. We then had another round of soccer and captain ball that involved everyone except the 3 china girls. Some of the American students also joined in our game. I only remembered one called 'Sam', he was super friendly. haha. Haoyu was very good in ball game, the rest of the guys were not bad too. We, girls, were just as tough too. Sand was flying here and there. So if any mouth were to open at that time, you will definitely have some taste of the sand. lol.

At around 5p.m, we were asked to played a shooting game. This shooting game goes like this: a gamer will release a disc to the air, there will be 5 shooters ready at their position giving their 2 shots. The sensors will then detect the successful shots by the shooters onto the electronic score board. The gun was very heavy! Each time before shooting, we still need to reload (reset) the gun. It's really a day that drained lots of energy due to physical activities. In the midst of the shooting game, Janet, Gin Jin, Joanne and I went to the club house to kop some baguette to eat. Yummy!!! However, three of us were still not satisfied with what we had eat, so we went to finished up all our cookies! We then went back to the club house, we realised everyone has already started to eat some snacks that were prepared for us.Oh well, we just continued eating the tidbits and chips! haha. We also tried some wines that we can do our own mixing. lol. The entree was salad and the main was bbq pork. Janet, amy and I tried all the 6 different kinds of cheese. Only 3 of the "looked normal" were nice, while the other 3 that looked rather special were bitter. At last, it's dessert! The dessert was nice! I prefered the chocolate one that has biscuit in it. In the midst of our dinner, we went to the bbq place. Haha. Rapheal, Sarah and his group of French students were busy bbqing the pork and also eating raw pig intestine! He tricked us into trying the raw pig intestine! It was a special raw taste I must say. There wasn't much things that we can help other than delevering the cooked food up to the club house. Before going back, we saw rainbow!!! It was a superb beautiful scenary. We did alot of pose. Back to dessert time, I was actually quite pissed with sq as she will just eat the dessert we said was nice from our plate that were meant for the 4 of us(Amy, Gin, Janet and me). No one initiated to share with her and she just very shun bian lo. At last, it's time to clean up! It was almost near 11p.m when we left the lake. Poor Eric got himself drunk terribly! He started calling babes and hunks to anyone. It was funny and scary! Janet and I went back to our room. Both of us took a bath. I started doing some packing and then went to sleep at 1 a.m.
